Product Benefits

Hastalex and BioHastalex offer biological researchers a host of exciting properties to take advantage of including:

Extraordinary Strength and Elasticity

Hastalex integrates functionalized graphene oxide (FGO) with a unique version of poly(carbonate-urea) urethane (PCU). This combination results in a material that exhibits remarkable strength and elasticity, enabling it to withstand mechanical stress and strain in biomedical applications.

Excellent Conductivity

Thanks to the inclusion of FGO nanoparticles, Hastalex demonstrates superior electrical conductivity. This property is critical for applications such as biosensors and implantable devices, where accurate and reliable electrical signals are essential.

Biodegradability and Non-Toxicity

BioHastalex is designed to degrade over time within the body. It incorporates FGO and PCU with a distinct chemical structure that ensures biocompatibility while also being non-toxic and antibacterial.

Hydrophobicity for Improved Biocompatibility

As it is inherently hydrophobic, Hastalex prevents the accumulation of water on its surface. The material's hydrophobic nature enhances biocompatibility, reducing the risk of adverse reactions or complications when used in contact with biological systems.
