BioHastalex® is a nanocomposite copolymer based on functionalized graphene oxide covalently bonded to a special version of a polycarbonate urethane.  It is synthesized as a polymer solution and extruded to a range of size and 3D structures, either as a flat film or a 3D shape. It is used in medical devices, surgical implants and 3D scaffolds for tissue development with stem cells, as well as for the development of internal and external respiratory, urological devices and other applications. This grade of Hastalex is biodegradable and biocompatible.
