Permendur® 49 Rods are made from an iron-cobalt alloy known for its high saturation induction and low coercivity, making it useful in applications like electric motors, transformers, and magnetic shields. With 79 size variations in the range, our Permendur® 49 Rods allow flexibility in design and integration into diverse systems and components. It is used primarily as magnetic core material in electrical core material in electrical equipment requiring high permeability values at very high magnetic flux densities, such as lightweight transformers and electric motors.
