Tungsten Carbide/Cobalt Sputtering Target
Our Tungsten Carbide/Cobalt (WC/Co) Sputtering Target disks are made of tungsten carbide particles bound together in a cobalt matrix. The tungsten carbide provides hardness and wear resistance, while the cobalt provides toughness. WC/Co target disks are commonly used to deposit thin, hard coatings onto tools, dies and mechanical components. They’re also used in the semiconductor industry to coat chips and other devices.
