Permalloy IJ85 Foil (Light Tight)

Permalloy IJ85 Foil is a metallic foil product within Goodfellow's range of light tight foils. It contains about 20% iron and 80% nickel. Permalloy IJ85 is known for its high magnetic permeability and low coercivity. These properties make it useful for magnetic shielding and transformer applications. The material can shield sensitive devices from external magnetic fields. It also enables efficient operation of high-frequency transformers. With high permeability and low core losses, Permalloy IJ85 is an excellent magnetic alloy for these and other applications requiring soft magnetic properties.
