VICTREX® APTIV® 1102 20% mineral filled PEEK Disk converts the stabilized film into a precise circular format for washers, spacers, and masks that must stay flat, resist creep, and hold torque in warm, electrically sensitive assemblies. The mineral reinforcement adds backbone, so thin parts keep registration in laminated stacks, avoid edge lift, and sit square under fasteners without cold flow. Converters value the clean, halogen-free surface for bonding, printing, and adhesive build-ups, and the film’s low moisture uptake helps parts maintain dielectric performance and fit after storage or bake. Motors, drives, battery modules, aerospace harnessing, and test equipment use APTIV 1102 disks for phase insulation, stiff spacers, carrier layers, and light, dimensionally stable masks that won’t embrittle in service. The disk format speeds die-cutting and kitting, reduces scrap in small shapes, and simplifies assembly in tight spaces.
