Goodfellow
Goodfellow is a global leader in the supply of high-quality advanced materials, established in 1946 by Stanley Goodfellow in the City of London. Originally appointed as the export specialist for the Royal Mint Refinery (then operated by the Rothschild family) the company pioneered the supply of ultra-thin precision foils and high-purity wires to the post-war electronics industry.
In the 1960s, operating from Surrey as Goodfellow Metals Ltd, the company launched its first catalogue, pivoting to serve the booming scientific research community. In 1974, Goodfellow became one of the founding tenants of the Cambridge Science Park, incorporating as Goodfellow Cambridge Ltd to cement its position at the heart of British innovation.
