Thoriated Tungsten Alloy Spooled Wire (W 99/Th 1)
Thoriated tungsten alloy spooled wire (W 99/Th 1) is a type of wire from Goodfellow's range of spooled wires. This material exhibits high density, high melting point, and excellent thermal conductivity. Applications of the thoriated tungsten wire include electrical contacts and heating elements that require high temperature stability. The addition of 1% thorium oxide improves the high temperature performance of tungsten. Goodfellow offers thoriated tungsten alloy wire in a variety of diameters and lengths, spooled for ease of use.
