Vectra® A115 15% Reinforced Glass Fiber LCP Rod

Vectra® A115 15% Reinforced Glass Fiber LCP Rod is a machinable stock shape based on a 15% glass-fiber modified liquid crystal polymer that balances easy flow with toughness and dimensional control. The LCP backbone brings very low moisture uptake, inherent flame resistance, chemical resilience, and excellent dielectric behavior, while the glass network adds stiffness and creep resistance for thin, precise parts that won’t wander under load. Electrical/electronic, aerospace, and industrial equipment builders use A115 when small components must keep fit around heat and solvents. Typical uses include precision standoffs and brackets near power hardware, coil form features and bobbins that hold crisp edges after bake, and lightweight sensor mounts that need clean surfaces and low outgassing. In development, A115 machines neatly and holds threads; in production it translates to molded details with minimal warpage. For research and industry, the rod offers a practical path to compact, high-reliability LCP components with reinforced stability.
