DX845 PMP Disk delivers a rare blend of optical clarity, high thermal stability, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for precision optical and structural applications. With a low density of about 0.833 g/cm³ and a refractive index near 1.46, the disk form ensures excellent light transmission with minimal distortion from UV through infrared wavelengths. Its melting point of ~235–240 °C and negligible water absorption provide dimensional stability in high-temperature and humid environments. The material’s low dielectric constant (~2.1) and high volume resistivity (~10¹⁶ Ω·cm) support its use in high-frequency instrumentation.
