RT18 Polymethylpentene (PMP) Film, a TPX™ thermoplastic polyolefin, offers high chemical resistance, minimal moisture absorption (<0.01%), and over 90% transmittance in the visible spectrum. These properties make it well-suited for spectrophotometry windows, analytical instruments, and microfluidic device fabrication. Its low dielectric constant (~2.2) and thermal stability up to 200 °C support use in dielectric testing, sensor insulation, and barrier layers in lab-scale electronic and chemical systems. In research and laboratory settings, RT18 Film maintains dimensional accuracy across thermal cycling (−40°C to 120°C) and performs reliably in solvent-exposed conditions, enabling cleanroom-compatible bonding, cutting, and microfabrication processes.
