Yttria-stabilized Zirconia Hexagonal Bolt
The Zirconia - stabilised with Yttria Hexagonal Bolt is a hexagonal bolt made of Yttria-stabilised zirconia, a ceramic material, and is part of Goodfellow's wide range of bolts. The product comes in 12 variations with different dimensions and thread sizes to suit different applications. The material offers high strength, fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance. It’s applications include as parts for valves and pumps in high temperature environments, like gas turbines, automotive engines and industrial furnaces where high temperature corrosion resistance is needed. The bolts can also be used in medical implants thanks to their biocompatibility.
