The Zirconia - stabilised with Yttria Flat Bottomed Boat Crucible is one of Goodfellow's range of crucibles designed for high temperature applications. With 20 variations available, these zirconia crucibles offer excellent thermal shock resistance, low thermal conductivity and good chemical inertness. Their flat bottomed design provides a stable platform for holding molten metals, or other materials, at temperatures up to 2300°C. Typical applications include metal melting and casting processes, crystal growth, and zone refining of semiconductors and metals. The Yttria-stabilised Zirconia crucibles are the ideal choice for demanding high temperature materials research and production environments.
