Waspaloy® Coil delivers an age-hardenable nickel-base superalloy in a roll of sheet engineered for long exposures to heat, oxidation, and mechanical stress. The coil format feeds forming, corrugating, and spot-welding lines, so designers can build lightweight wraps, bellows, honeycomb or labyrinth seals, shims, and combustor liners that live close to burners and exhaust streams. Compared with ordinary stainless foils, Waspaloy maintains strength and surface integrity after repeated heat-up and cool-down, helping parts keep spring, fastener load, and sealing pressure. It resists oxidation in hot gases and remains stable in many aggressive environments found in turbines and high-temperature process equipment. Aerospace and energy teams choose Waspaloy coils when space is tight and thermal cycling is severe, because the alloy holds geometry without the mass of thicker plate. In prototyping and production, the roll form supports efficient slitting, die-cutting, and multi-layer laminates, enabling durable, all-metal thermal and mechanical barriers that are easy to handle and repeat at scale.
