Tungsten/Copper Alloy Foil is a high-density light tight foil produced by powder metallurgy that comes in 2 variations. It combines the high density and radiation stopping power of tungsten with the ductility of copper. Applications include radiation shielding for medical and scientific instrumentation, as well as radiation collimators. The variations in foil thickness available allow shielding to be tailored to specific radiation energy ranges and dose requirements.
