Tungsten Carbide is an extremely hard ceramic material with excellent wear resistance, making it ideal for applications like ball bearings and tool tips. The cobalt binder allows the production of complex shapes through powder metallurgy techniques. Example applications of Tungsten Carbide/Cobalt Balls include ball bearings for machines operating under high loads and temperatures, abrasion resistant media for grinding and polishing, and tool tips for machining hard materials like ceramics or stone.
