Tantalum/Tungsten Alloy Rod (Ta90/W 10) from Goodfellow is a rod made of 90% tantalum and 10% tungsten. This alloy combines the high density and ductility of tantalum with the high hardness and strength of tungsten. The Ta90/W10 alloy exhibits excellent high temperature strength, good corrosion resistance, and high thermal conductivity. Potential applications of the Ta90/W10 alloy rod include high temperature furnace elements, thermocouple wires, and sputtering targets for thin film deposition. This tantalum/tungsten alloy rod falls within Goodfellow's diverse range of rod and wire products.
