The Job:

This is a key position within a unique partnership that combines advanced materials from Goodfellow with Potomac’s precision micromachining expertise. By leveraging both offerings, you will be integral in delivering tailored solutions to meet complex customer needs. As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, building strong relationships, and ensuring the success of our combined value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and professionally respond to customer inquiries about our services and materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Drive growth by managing customer portfolios and expanding sales within your territory.
  • Achieve KPIs and sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and maximizing revenue from existing accounts.
  • Provide timely follow-up on quotes, inquiries, and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our technical and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use Salesforce to manage customer data and opportunities—Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Assist with pricing, quotes, and ensuring all necessary information is provided for smooth order processing.
  • Participate in occasional travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and represent Potomac and Goodfellow at industry events.

Key Requirements:

  • A background in sales, with proven ability to build relationships and drive growth.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of micro-manufacturing or materials is ideal, but experience in a similar technical field will be considered.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM Systems.
  • A proactive and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • STEM degree or relevant sales experience in a similar technical field required.
  • 2 Years’ Technical Sales experience is preferred.

Salary:

  • Competitive salary - $55,000 - $70,000, and commissions based on experience.
  • Generous benefits package to include health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO and 401K.
