PTFE AISI 316 Stainless Steel Insulated Wire

Goodfellow offers a range of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) AISI 316 Stainless Steel Insulated Wire with 15 variations. These wires consist of a stainless steel alloy core insulated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). PTFE provides excellent electrical insulation along with high temperature resistance, chemical inertness, and low friction. The stainless steel alloy core provides strength and corrosion resistance. These insulated wires find uses in a wide variety of electrical and electronic applications requiring rugged, chemically resistant, high temperature insulation. Example applications include wire harnesses for aerospace systems, medical devices, and industrial process monitoring and control systems.
