High Permeability Magnetic Alloy/Mu-metal Foil (Light Tight) (Ni80/Fe15/Mo 5) is a nickel-iron soft magnetic alloy foil that provides excellent magnetic shielding properties. With 4 variations to choose from, it’s available in a range of thicknesses from 0.025mm to 0.5mm. This highly permeable magnetic alloy is commonly used for shielding sensitive devices from static or low frequency magnetic fields. Typical applications include shielding photomultiplier tubes, electron multipliers, video monitors and medical imaging equipment where even very low magnetic fields must be blocked.
