Iridium Pellets Casting Grain are high-density spherical beads from Goodfellow's range of pellet products. With a density of 22.42 g/cc and melting point of 2446°C, iridium pellets exhibit excellent high temperature strength. These properties make iridium pellets ideal for applications like crucibles, thermocouple elements, and electrical contacts requiring thermal and oxidation resistance. The uniform size distribution of the pellets also lends well to precise metering and repeatable melting behavior during casting processes. As part of Goodfellow's pellet range, the iridium pellets are manufactured to tight sphericity and size standards.
