MX002 Polymethylpentene (PMP) Film is a high-purity, semicrystalline polymer film designed for scientific and laboratory use where thermal stability, optical clarity, and chemical resistance are essential. Known as TPX™, this thermoplastic polyolefin film has a low dielectric constant (~2.1), minimal moisture absorption (<0.01%), and high gas permeability, supporting applications in gas separation, barrier films, and membrane development. MX002 is used as a base for radiation-induced grafting in ion exchange membrane fabrication, including systems for reverse electrodialysis and electrochemical energy research. Its dimensional stability and inert surface enable reliable integration into microfluidic devices, optical windows, and analytical instrumentation where precision and reproducibility are required.
