Antimony Pellets are a high-purity form of antimony metal produced by Goodfellow. The brittle grey pellets are composed of 99.5% antimony, with trace amounts of iron, lead, and silver. The metal has a relatively low melting point of 630°C and a density of 6.69 g/cm3. Antimony's semiconductor properties make it useful in infrared detectors and diodes. The pellets are also utilized as a hardening additive in lead alloys for ammunition and solders. As part of their broad selection of metals, Goodfellow provides antimony in pellet form for research and industrial applications.
