Iridium Pellets

Iridium pellets from Goodfellow are small, spherical particles of iridium metal. Iridium is extremely corrosion resistant and has the highest melting point of all metals. These properties make iridium useful for applications that demand durability at high temperatures, like crucibles, thermocouple elements, and electrical contacts. The high density of iridium also allows it to be used as a balance weight. Goodfellow offers iridium pellets in a range of sizes from 1 to 6 mm diameter to suit different industrial and research needs.
