Iridium Disk

Iridium Disk is a high-performance metal product from Goodfellow's selection of metal foils. This high-density foil exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. The refractory nature of iridium makes it ideally suited for use in extreme conditions like rocket engines and radioisotope thermoelectric generators. Applications for iridium foil include crucibles, thermocouples, and protective coatings for high-temperature industrial processes. Goodfellow offers iridium disks with thicknesses from 25 to 500 microns to meet a wide range of design needs.
