Inconel® 625 Foil - T 0.025mm 25mm x 25mm
Inconel® 625 Foil is a nickel–chromium–molybdenum alloy that delivers superior resistance to oxidation, fatigue, and chloride stress corrosion cracking while maintaining high tensile and creep strength at elevated temperatures. In thin foil form, it offers excellent flexibility, uniform corrosion protection, and ease of integration into compact systems. This makes it a critical material across aerospace, marine, and chemical processing industries, where it is used in heat exchangers, chemical reactor linings, and environmental protection systems. Specific applications include barrier layers in corrosive fluid handling equipment, aerospace seals requiring both flexibility and high-temperature tolerance, and marine exhaust linings subjected to aggressive seawater environments. Research has highlighted optimization of machining for thin sections, grain stability during thermal aging, and the role of micro-texturing to improve wear resistance, reinforcing its importance in reliability engineering.
