Hastelloy® C276 Spooled Wire
Hastelloy® C276 Spooled Wire is a corrosion-resistant alloy primarily used in chemical processing, aerospace systems, and power generation. Its high resistance to sulfuric, hydrochloric, and phosphoric acids makes it ideal for applications in environments involving aggressive media, such as chemical reactors, heat exchangers, and flue gas desulfurization systems. The alloy’s ability to withstand temperatures up to 1,500°F (815°C) and its resistance to stress corrosion cracking are key for components in high-temperature, high-pressure conditions. Ongoing research highlights its suitability for advanced engineering applications, including hydrogen production systems and fuel cell technologies.
