Grade 23 Titanium/Aluminum/Vanadium Alloy Foil (Light Tight) (Ti90/Al 6/V 4) is an alloy foil product from Goodfellow's extensive range of foil materials. This alloy foil combines the strength and hardness of titanium with the lightness of aluminum. With a density around half that of pure titanium, this alloy foil offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Potential applications include lightweight structural components for aerospace, automotive, and biomedical uses where high specific strength is required. The vanadium addition also imparts good corrosion resistance.
