ARMCO® soft ingot Iron Foil

ARMCO® Soft Ingot Iron Foil is a high-purity, ultra-low carbon iron foil engineered for scientific applications that demand controlled magnetic and structural properties. With very low coercivity and high magnetic permeability, it is widely used in magnetic shielding, flux return paths, transformer laminations, and low-temperature magnetic measurements. Its uniform composition and minimal inclusions ensure consistent magnetic behavior, making it suitable for use in cryogenics, spintronics, and particle beamline assemblies. The foil’s compatibility with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems and ease of cold forming also support its integration into magnetic field control components and sensitive experimental platforms in research laboratories.
