Aluminum/Magnesium Alloy Foil (Al97.5/Mg 2.5) is a type of foil within Goodfellow's range of foil products. This alloy foil combines the properties of aluminum, including its low density and high thermal conductivity, with the strength and hardness imparted by the magnesium. The improved mechanical properties of the alloy make it suitable for applications like food packaging and insulation for cables and electronics. The combination of properties also allows it to be formed into thin foils through rolling.
