Alumina Point Bottom Crucibles are a range of 8 crucibles made of high purity alumina with a point bottom design for the convenient pouring of molten contents. They possess excellent thermal shock resistance and high temperature strength. The range includes crucibles with volumes from 5mL to 100mL and maximum service temperatures from 1600°C to 1700°C. Alumina crucibles are commonly used in laboratories and industry for high temperature melting, annealing and sintering applications such as metal alloy processing or ceramic and glass making.
