AISI 310 Stainless Steel Foil is a high-chromium, high-nickel austenitic stainless steel designed for superior oxidation resistance, thermal stability, and corrosion performance in elevated-temperature environments. The alloy’s composition allows it to retain strength and resist scaling up to approximately 1100 °C, making it a prime choice for continuous operations in extreme conditions. Its rolled foil form enables precision fabrication for applications in aerospace thermal shields, furnace linings, flexible electronic substrates, and catalyst carrier assemblies. Specific uses include high-temperature exhaust gas purifying components, OLED display backplanes, and chemical processing linings. In research, AISI 310 foil is used to study thermal fatigue resistance, surface oxidation kinetics, and material behavior under cyclic heating. Its combination of heat resistance, formability, and corrosion performance ensures value in both industrial manufacturing and advanced materials engineering.
