Zirconia - stabilised with Yttria Pellet Boat Crucible is a high-performance ceramic material produced by Goodfellow for use in materials processing applications. With a melting point over 2,500°C, Yttria-stabilised Zirconia offers excellent thermal shock resistance and chemical inertness. Goodfellow offer these crucibles in a range of sizes and shapes to meet different capacity and geometry requirements with its boat shape allowing for the easy transfer of parts in and out of furnaces. Typical applications include serving as containers for high-temperature material synthesis, crystal growth and metal melting processes. The crucibles are reusable and provide a cost-effective alternative to disposable graphite or quartz boats.
