Goodfellow is proud to have been announced as a ‘Best Places to Work 2024 – Medium Organization’ accreditation recipient by The Sunday Times. Our team voted us highly in ‘instilling pride’, ‘wellbeing’, and ‘happiness’ which is a rewarding outcome. ‘Empowerment’, ‘job satisfaction’, and ‘reward and recognition’ scored almost as high, along with ‘information sharing’.
Andrew Watson, Goodfellow’s Chief Financial Officer, thanked everyone who took part in the survey, citing their input as "invaluable, and we appreciate your commitment to shaping the future as we strive to make Goodfellow an even greater place to work”.
As part of the organization’s values of continuous improvement, the survey results will be analysed to drive changes to further improve the work environment, fostering a culture which supports and empowers each team member to make Goodfellow a unique and exceptional place to work.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards is a nationwide workplace survey which acknowledges and celebrates Britain’s top employers. The survey consists of 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, which have been developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics and other independent parties to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.
To achieve a high overall engagement score, an organization must score well across Workl’s six-step framework – reward and recognition, instilling pride, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, and job satisfaction. To be successful, an organization must receive a minimum participation level of 50% for medium organizations, with a minimum overall engagement score of 70%.
