Characterized by high thermal conductivity and resistance to thermal shock, these disks have an anisotropic structure and properties. Pyrolytic Graphite Carbon disks are used in high temperature applications such as furnace fixtures, welding jigs and as substrates for the epitaxial growth of semiconductor films.
