Monel® 400 Coil from Goodfellow is a nickel-copper alloy foil that has high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good fabricability. With a nickel content of at least 63%, Monel® 400 has greater toughness than pure nickel at all temperatures. It is also resistant to a wide range of corrosive environments. Monel® 400 coil foil finds use in applications requiring resistance to sea water and steam at high temperatures, such as marine engineering, chemical and hydrocarbon processing, valves, and heat exchangers. This alloy foil is available in various dimensions and tempers within Goodfellow's broad range of specialty metal foils.
