Polyimide Film is an innovative material which sits on the high-performance end of the polymer spectrum. Possessing a unique combination of properties allows it to be used in a wide range of applications, which leads us to this article, as there’s a lot we can talk about. Polyimide Film is normally infusible and often amber in colour, with predominantly aromatic molecules of high thermal stability. We mainly see Polyimide Film used in applications where a reliable and durable product is needed, often in harsh environments. It’s also possible to engineer and convert the material to meet particular requirements for electrical, mechanical, chemical and temperature-related properties.
