Palladium/Copper Alloy Foil (Light Tight) (Pd60/Cu40) is used for applications that require light-tight shielding. This foil comes in 8 variations that have different percentages of palladium and copper in the alloy composition allowing for customization of density, ductility and cost. It’s highly opaque and blocks visible light, UV and infrared radiation. Typical uses include electromagnetic shielding for sensitive electronics and optical filters for scientific instrumentation where complete light blocking is needed.
