Caesium Iodide Sheet
Caesium Iodide sheets are a transparent and hygroscopic crystalline material with a bandgap of 6.2eV. They’re useful for applications involving UV light detection. They also have a high density, making them suitable for radiation shielding applications. Goodfellow offers Caesium Iodide sheets in 2 variations to meet different size and thickness requirements. Potential applications include scintillation detectors, UV photodetectors, and windows or lenses for UV optics.
