Vanadium Foil

Vanadium Foil enables efficient hydrogen transport, high-temperature gas separation, and superpermeable membrane function under vacuum or inert atmospheres. In laboratory and research environments, its high hydrogen diffusivity supports isotope recovery efforts for fusion energy systems. It is also used as a substrate for catalytic coatings and in thin film deposition within surface engineering and materials science. Vanadium foil is evaluated for its thermal and radiation tolerance in aerospace and nuclear settings. While it is sensitive to oxidation above 600 °C in air, its reliable behavior in controlled conditions makes it suitable for hydrogen diffusion, barrier layer development, and energy system alloy testing.
