They’re made from a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkylvinylether, giving them excellent chemical resistance as well as high-temperature stability. Teflon PFA rods are used in the chemical processing, semiconductor and oil/gas industries, where corrosion resistance is paramount. They can be machined into bushings, spacers and other components for use in harsh environments.
