2025 ORNL Joint Nanoscience and Neutron Scattering User Meeting
Goodfellow is a proud sponsor of the 2025 ORNL Joint Nanoscience and Neutron Scattering User Meeting, held on August 11-14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Knoxville. The event unites user communities from CNMS, HFIR, and SNS for a dynamic exchange of scientific advances and opportunities at the intersection of nanoscience and neutron scattering.
Attendees can look forward to plenary lectures, thematic breakouts, and workshops. Sessions will cover a range of topics, including:
-
Hard matter: quantum, electronic, and semiconducting materials
-
Soft matter, polymers, and complex fluids
- Biology and life sciences
-
Emerging research and multimodal techniques
-
AI and data science
The meeting will also include a student poster slam, a poster reception, a joint town hall meeting, and facility tours.
Meet Goodfellow at our exhibition stand!
Louis Borelli from Goodfellow will be on-site to discuss how our high-purity metals, alloys, ceramics, polymers, and nanomaterials enable breakthroughs in quantum computing, energy storage, biomedical devices, and nanotechnology, from fundamental studies to advanced applications.
Also at the table, Sherry Ford from Potomac Photonics will be available to discuss microfabrication solutions such as micromachining, laser patterning, and custom microfluidic or sample-holder fabrication—ideal for enabling precise experimental setups and novel device development in nanoscience and neutron studies.
