Reference Materials
BAS has been certified to ISO 9001 and its predecessors since 1994 for the production and supply of reference materials. Since 2006, BAS has also been accredited by UKAS; initially to ISO Guide 34:2000, later to ISO Guide 34:2009, then in 2018 to ISO 17034:2016. Therefore, on this website, when clicking on links to RM certificates you will see the original issued certificate, unless it has since been reissued. If the date of issue was prior to accreditation to ISO 17034:2016, then the accreditation mentioned on the certificate will be ISO Guide 34:2009 or ISO Gude 34:2000. If the certificate was issued prior to 2006, it will reference BS EN ISO 9001 or its predecessor ISO 9002.
