Platinum Rhodium Alloy Foil Light Tight (Pt60/Rh40) combines exceptional high-temperature oxidation resistance, mechanical stability, and electrical conductivity in a fully opaque sheet free of pinholes, ensuring no external light transmission for sensitive optical or thermal systems. The Pt-Rh alloy’s superior resistance to chemical attack and creep deformation under extreme heat makes it valuable in aerospace thermal shielding, precision furnace linings, and high-vacuum environments. Applications include thermocouple sheathing in extreme-temperature calibration, catalyst supports for emission control, and reflective barriers in aerospace optical systems.
