PET Disk Metallized with Stainless Steel merges the flexibility, chemical resistance, and barrier properties of polyethylene terephthalate with a stainless steel coating for enhanced mechanical durability, corrosion resistance, and conductivity. This combination is particularly effective in harsh environments where both electrical performance and corrosion resistance are required. Industries employ these disks in chemical sensors, shielding components for marine electronics, and conductive interfaces in corrosive industrial settings. Specific applications include electrodes for electrochemical monitoring, corrosion-resistant EMI shielding layers, and mechanical protection for flexible electronic assemblies. In research, they are used for surface adhesion studies of steel coatings on polymers, development of hybrid corrosion-resistant materials, and evaluation of stainless-steel-based conductive films.
