PET Film - T 0.1mm 300mm x 300mm

Details

SKU: 1000000356 Product Code: ES30-FM-000201
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Film is one of the most versatile engineering polymer films, available in amorphous, semi-crystalline, and biaxially-oriented structures across thicknesses from 0.0005 mm to 25 mm — a range that spans ultra-thin capacitor dielectric films through to rigid sheet for structural and optical applications. The choice of structure is as important as thickness: amorphous PET offers superior optical clarity and thermoformability, semi-crystalline grades provide improved thermal stability and stiffness, and biaxially-oriented PET (BOPET) delivers the highest mechanical performance, with tensile strengths of 190–260 MPa and excellent dimensional stability under load and temperature. Across all forms, PET combines a dielectric strength of 17 kV/mm, volume resistivity above 10¹⁴ Ω·cm, low water absorption of 0.1% over 24 hours, and continuous service capability up to 115–170 °C with good resistance to dilute acids, alcohols, and oils. Typical applications include flexible printed circuits, capacitor dielectric layers, LCD backlight and display protection films, laminated safety glass interlayers, optical substrates, and high-performance packaging. In research, PET film is used across thin-film deposition, surface modification, nanocomposite development, and barrier performance studies — wherever a dimensionally stable, chemically resistant polymer film in a precisely controlled structure and thickness is required.
