Niobium/Zirconium Alloy Spooled Wire (Nb99/Zr 1) is a high-performance metallic wire produced by Goodfellow. Available in 15 variations, this alloy combines the strength and hardness of niobium with the corrosion resistance of zirconium. With a melting point over 2500°C, niobium/zirconium wire maintains its mechanical properties and shape at extremely high temperatures. Its unique properties make it ideal for use in superconducting magnets, high-temperature furnace elements, and filaments for mass spectrometers. Goodfellow's range of niobium/zirconium alloy wires provides researchers and engineers with customizable solutions for demanding applications.
