Nickel Silver Alloy Foil (Light Tight) (Cu62/Ni18/Zn20) is a high-performance foil offered in Goodfellow's range of nickel silver alloy products. With a composition of 62% copper, 18% nickel, and 20% zinc, this foil exhibits properties such as high strength, good corrosion resistance, excellent brazeability, and low gas permeability. Applications of this versatile foil include use in electrical connectors, springs, fasteners, and seals requiring a non-magnetic, sterling silver appearance. The airtight and light blocking properties also make this an ideal material for packaging in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
