Nickel Iron Alloy Foil Light Tight (Ni80/Fe20) combines the soft magnetic properties and high permeability of nickel-iron alloys with a pinhole-free surface that fully blocks light transmission. The 80–20 composition offers excellent corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and consistent magnetic performance, making it ideal for electromagnetic shielding, sensor enclosures, and precision optical systems. Industries such as electronics, aerospace, and microscopy employ it for shielding sensitive equipment, creating light-blocking barriers in optical assemblies, and fabricating magnetic cores. Applications include electromagnetic compatibility housings, precision optical apertures, and magnetic sensor cases. In research, the light-tight quality supports controlled optical experiments, while its magnetic stability enables studies on shielding effectiveness and magnetic domain behavior.
