Lithium Fluoride Pellets

Lithium fluoride pellets, an offering within Goodfellow's range of pellets, are formed from pressed lithium fluoride powder. With a melting point of 845°C, lithium fluoride pellets exhibit high thermal stability. They also demonstrate low solubility in water. These properties make lithium fluoride pellets well suited to applications in molten salt reactors as a coolant. Additionally, the pellets may be used as a fluxing agent in aluminum metallurgy.
